NDS Power Service

The Powerservice is a modern battery charger that is not operated with mains voltage, but with the alternator. The Power Service charges - as long as the Betterie condition requires - always with its maximum power, depending on the design 20, 25, 30 or 35 A charging capacity. The alternator supplies the required energy, therefore the desired charging power should be matched to the alternator power (see table). In addition, the Power Service has also integrated a desulphation function, thus effectively preventing the creeping loss of capacity of the supply battery caused by sulphation. The power service can be deactivated at any time via a main switch, the connection from the isolating relay to the supply battery is re-established. Since 2008 POWER SERVICE is also available as "PLUS" with integrated solar charge controller or as "GOLD" with solar charge controller and integrated 230 V charger.
